One thing I hear all the time is:
“Gregg, I’m too old to change now.”
I used to think that myself.
People see the photos now — the weight loss, the training, the confidence — but they don’t see the years before it. The bad habits. The overeating. The late nights. The “I’ll start Monday” promises that never happened.
I built my career around food. Big meals, long days, comfort eating. Sound familiar?
Then one day I realised I was looking after my work better than I was looking after myself.
The truth is, poor health creeps up on you slowly. Less movement. Worse sleep. More rubbish food. More excuses.
Until you suddenly don’t feel like yourself anymore.
For me, the turning point wasn’t about looks. It was about energy. I was fed up with feeling tired all the time.
And that’s what people get wrong about health.
It’s not punishment. It’s freedom.
Freedom to move properly. Sleep better. Feel stronger. Enjoy life more.
The biggest mistake people make is trying to change everything overnight. Extreme diets. Seven-day gym plans. Misery.
That never lasts.
What works is consistency.
Walk more. Eat better. Sleep properly. Lift some weights. Repeat tomorrow.
Nothing flashy. Just habits.
And honestly, you don’t need perfection. You just need to start.
Even now, I don’t wake up every day full of motivation. Nobody does. You do the work anyway.
That’s where confidence comes from.
Small actions, repeated often enough, completely change your life.
And if I can do it, anybody can.
