I don’t coach diets. Simple reason is they don’t work. I’ve tried a load myself, I’m sure you have too, they just don’t work. They rely on willpower, they are restrictive, they are uncomfortable and they just don’t work.
You won’t see any mention of diets around here unless, of course, it’s criticising them.
What I actually coach is lifestyle. A lifestyle that makes what you eat a priority in your life.
That sounds so strange doesn’t it? But it’s this lack of focus on what our food is that has resulted in so much obesity.
There is so much easy grab and go food nowadays that none of us have to plan our meals because there is no chance that we are going to be hungry. There is always something ready to eat, either from the shelves of a shop or on the end of the phone. The problem is that nearly all of this grab and go food is complete crap and has a very negative effect on our weight and overall health.
By switching focus and making food one of our priorities we turn our back on this grab and go harmful food culture.
It does seem strange at first but when I interview GreggWallace.Health members that are losing weight they tell me just how easy it is once you embrace it
I’ve just had a conversation with a nurse called Nikki, who in six weeks has lost 10 lbs in weight. She told me that the mornings are so much easier because her breakfast is already made and she said in less than an hour each evening, not only does she make her dinner, but she also makes her lunch and breakfast for the next day.|
Will you please read this again... in under an hour! This lady makes all of her three meals that she needs in less that an hour! I doubt whether you can get your meals in less time by buying them from the shop.
This really is very simple. It is so easy to do but you have to turn your back on what it is you’ve been doing and you have to embrace a new way. Surely an hour a day of your life is worth it for a slimmer, healthier you.
This is not a diet, this is refocusing, this is lifestyle choice.
