I interviewed Joe Wicks once and I asked him what’s the most important thing when people want to get healthier and fitter. He said “organisation, get organised and get the chaos out of your life “
I’ve been interviewing people that have lost weight with me and we've been putting the interviews up on our socials. Listen to what they all say. Without doubt they say it’s the organisation and the planning that is absolute key.
I post my schedule every morning on Instagram and many people say to me, "wow you’re really busy." I’m not actually sure I really am. Well, I’m not sure I’m busy than anybody else. We, all of us wake up, spend a lot of hours awake and then go back to sleep again. I detail what happens in my waking hours. The fact that other people don’t doesn’t make them less busy than me but it does make them less organised.
Do you know what makes up your day? This is a fine place to start. In my experience many people say they’re busy but have no real idea what they do with the hours outside of work. Make a start, write down exactly what happens to you in a 24 hour period.
Organisation isn’t being uptight, it’s actually freedom! What do you want in your day? If it’s important make sure there is time for it!
If you look at my schedule that I post daily you’ll see there is time for the meals, I put a nap in the day, I make time to read and I also make time for a walk. I often also make time for a swim.
None of these things that are really good for me would happen if I didn’t organise them, if I didn’t keep a detailed diary,
Listen to the interviews of the people that have lost weight, please pay attention to what they consider to be the most important thing. It’s planning its organisation.
