How Setting Lofty Goals Can Transform Your Health Journey
I think we should think big. Seriously, be ambitious. I mean, if you want to reach the clouds, I think it’s a good idea to aim for the stars, that way you are guaranteed to clear the clouds, right? I do hope I am making sense here. What I’m trying to say is if you only want 100 quid, try, and get 200. Right, I’ll stop being garbled. We’re here to lose weight, right, and get fit. The point I’m trying to make (in a not very clear way), I think it’s good to dream, and dream beyond your immediate goals. I always have, I write down my goals, I look at them regularly and I don’t know why, as if by magic, I just get there.
There are members on here that have lost weight and continue to lose weight. We’ve now been running for over 3 years now. The question is then, of course, what next? What happens when you get to your goal weight? This happened to me, it’s happening to some members, it could well happen to you. I’d like you to consider this, not just being slimmer and weighing less but what do you do when you get there? I honestly think it’s a positive thing, so bear it in mind. Once you’ve got there and you can, you’re then maintaining your weight. Believe me, you won’t pile the weight back on again, that is not the way the GreggWallace.Health system works. By the time you’ve got to goal weight, you will always be mindful of what you eat and drink, it will now be who you are.
The question is, what do you really want to look like? Using our framework for weight loss and some additional movement, you can now really mould and shape your body. Seriously, I mean it. Guys, what shape do you want to be? Do you want to look like a weightlifter, a rugby player, a footballer, or a marathon runner? Ladies, what shape do you want to be? Whose shape would you be? Beyonce, Lady Gaga, a dancer, an athlete? Believe me, they are the choices you will have to make once you reach goal weight and when you get there, you’ll never go back to who you were. It’s good to dream, it’s good to have plans, planning it, dreaming about it, for me anyway, always made it happen. You can also use GreggWallace.Health to maintain once you have got to your ‘goal weight’
