Gregg's Blog: Reversing Trends

The Power of Personal Accountability in Achieving a Healthier Lifestyle

I was overweight. I was five stone heavier than I am right now. It wasn’t anything to do with genetics. It certainly wasn’t my metabolism. It wasn’t a lack of exercise. It was what I was eating and drinking. I had done this to myself. I wasn’t built differently from other people. I wasn’t unlucky. The slim people weren’t lucky; I was eating too much of the wrong stuff.

If you are overweight right now, you have done that to yourself. You have had to learn bad habits over a period of time that has resulted in too much weight gain.

This sounds like tough love, I know, but it’s the truth. But there can be a very happy ending here.

Once we consider that our weight isn’t a mystery, we haven’t been unfortunate; we have caused it. We can then come to the wonderful realisation that we can change it.

If our habits and our actions have caused us to become overweight, we can, of course, implement changes and new habits that will reverse that situation.

Please think about this. This is really good news. If our actions have caused us to gain weight, we can implement actions that will reverse that situation.

We can do this. Our health and our weight are in our own hands. The story gets even happier from here; it’s not about willpower, it’s not about exercise, it’s not about portion control. It’s not about being hungry. What it is about is making what you eat a priority in your life. It’s also about preparing and eating the meals that are given to you as a member of GreggWallace.Health.

You can do this, I guarantee it. How do I know? Because I have done it, and so have thousands of others before you.

Good luck on your journey. We are here to help. Your healthy, slimmer future, as always, is in your own hands.
